To be eligible, participants must:

  • Identify as a staff or volunteer member (e.g., director, assistant director, counselor, student intern, program coordinator, etc.) working within the realm of undocumented students and/or basic needs;
  • Work directly with undocumented students and students from mixed-status families (i.e., where at least one member is undocumented)
  • Work in an institution of higher education or a local immigrant rights’ organization
  • Physical reside anywhere in the United States

About the interview:

  • Interviews are 45-60 minutes long
  • Can be conducted through Zoom or over the phone
  • Compensation is $50 per participant
  • All personal information is kept private and confidential
  • Interview questions will cover topics about the nature and scope of your work, experience working with students, ongoing challenges and limitations in doing this work, the impact of immigration- and education-policy on your role/work, and more.
