Diya Hoque (Undergraduate Research Assistant) is a fourth-year undergraduate student at UC Irvine, graduating this upcoming winter with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Law, and Society. Diya is set on going to law school to get her Juris Doctorate with a concentration in immigration law as she is especially committed to being a voice for those who are denied one.
Marilyn Morales (Undergraduate Research Assistant), a fourth-year sociology major at the University of California, Irvine, is deeply immersed in the world of social justice and advocacy. As a passionate advocate for undocumented individuals, she has dedicated her academic and activist journey to amplifying the voices of those who are often marginalized and overlooked in our society. Currently serving as a research assistant and actively engaged in exploring the intersectionality of immigration policies, social structures, and human rights.
Angel Parra (Undergraduate Research Assistant) is a fourth-year undergraduate at UC Irvine who is set to graduate this spring with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Criminology, Law and Society. As someone who has always been passionate about humanitarian work and serving his community, Angel aspires to enter the seminary to be a Catholic Priest or Law School to practice Immigration Law.
Dulce Perez Zavala (Undergraduate Research Assistant) is an undergraduate student at UC Irvine. She is set to graduate this upcoming Spring with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Criminology, Law, and Society. Dulce’s career aspirations are to attend law school and specialize in immigration law.
